Two leaders, one platoon.

When I first joined the Army, I learned the value of co-leadership. I was a young platoon paired with an experienced platoon sergeant. I brought strategy; he brought tactics. I had some book smarts; he had decades of real-world knowledge. We led like a paired set, bringing out each other’s best. It wasn’t until I got to corporate that I learned most people lead alone. This experience makes me uniquely suited to support Co-Founders as they face the same tests.

And we always focused on the platoon - the team around us. I learned how to develop the ‘next person up’, how to provide servant leadership, and how to model the right behaviors. I’ve led teams of all sizes and in all industries. I’ve studied organizational psychology and taught developing groups & teams. After >100 executive team workshops, I’ve learned there’s a predictable path to building resilience and improving performance under pressure.
